It's in these particular eras that film-makers seek the 'period correct' props-- many of which are very hard to come by. The facts is that many of our early industrial age vehicles are becoming hard to come by. Time, weather, recycling, and use have all played a part in the elimination of man classics. A good film-production company will spend countless resources attempting to find the necessary props for the most realistic re-creation of a specific period. If you happen to own a piece of history- hold onto it, because they're not coming back around again. History is already made, and if you're lucky you can play a part in making it again on film. |
